Obit Ken HorelikNorthborough – Kenyon “Ken” R. Horelik passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester after a long illness. He was 58.

He leaves his wife of 32 years, Kathy (Mangan) Horelik; two sons, Nicholas Horelik of Cambridge and Benjamin Horelik of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Yvonne Horelik of Baltic, Conn.; two brothers, Darryl Horelik of S. Windsor, Conn. and Shepherd Horelik of Lowell; and five nieces and nephews.

Born in Norwalk, Conn. and raised in Norwich, Conn., Ken was the son of the late Edward Horelik. He graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1974 and UConn with a B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1979. He lived in Northborough since 1990 and is formerly of Norwich.

Ken was most recently employed with PNC Financial Services in Westborough.

An avid Red Sox and UConn sports fan, he also enjoyed reading and caring for his lawn and garden. He was a staunch supporter of Norwich Free Academy.

Calling hours will be held Friday, April 10, from 5-8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m., in St. Bernadette Church, 266 Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Norwich Free Academy to benefit the Slater Memorial Museum at www.nfaschool.org.
