Clinton – Terry J. Barrett, 68 of Clinton, formerly of Marlborough and Northborough, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 24, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, at UMass Medical Center.

Terry is survived by his two sons, Jeramie Barrett and his wife Jody of Jefferson and Jason Barrett and his wife Stephanie of Sterling; his daughter, Christy LaPrade and her husband William of Hopedale; a brother, William Barrett of Paxton; a sister, Mary Anne Testa of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard “Butch” Barrett and Robert “Buck” Barrett.

Terry was born in Marlborough, a son of the late Donald and Charlotte (Gilliat) Barrett. He graduated from Marlborough High School and lived there most of his life.

Terry was a self-employed carpenter for 20 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, especially baseball and hockey.

Services for Terry will be held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester is assisting the family.
