Frisbee dog show at Oak Middle School

Shrewsbury – The Flying High Frisbee Dogs show will take place at Oak Middle School Football Field, 45 Oak St., Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. Mike Piazza is a multiple world finalist and former long distance world record holder. The top K-9 Frisbee performer in the world and only local professional with over 15 years of experience, he has performed for the NFL, NBA, MLS, Minor League Baseball, ESPN, Animal Planet, NESN, college halftime sporting events, fairs, TV commercials, magazine covers, corporate events and functions, pet expos, day camps and more. Piazza performs with three Border Collies, ages, 3, 6 and 11. His routine includes a variety of tricks such as flips, twists and some super long distance throws. He also provides a short presentation where he teaches the crowd how to train their own dog to catch a Frisbee.

The family friendly show, approximately 30-40 minutes, is free and sponsored by Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation.
