Shrewsbury – Students enjoyed a fun-filled day of activities at field day at Spring Street School held June 12. From choosing funny face painting and tattoos and dodge ball to the Sponge Bob relay and an obstacle course, students stayed cool during the hot weather and ended the school year with a great day.
Thanks to the many parent volunteers, 10 games were played throughout the school grounds and at the end of the half day of fun, students enjoyed relaxing outside enjoying iced Popsicle cups with their friends.
Spring Street School Principal Bryan Mabie encouraged the kids to be good sports and enjoy their friends and also said it was third perfect day for outdoor activities. Previously in the month, there was beautiful weather for the annual Fourth Grade Celebration and Sing and Swing.
