Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Public Library, 214 Lake St., announced that its new collection of tabletop games is ready for patrons to check out. The collection includes 18 different games, including strategy games such as “Settlers of Catan,” cooperative games like “Forbidden Desert,” and party games like “Quelf.” Library patrons may check out up to two games at a time for a period of one week.
In conjunction with the tabletop games collection, the library offers and ongoing drop-in gaming program series for teens and adults called “This is How We Roll.” Meetings are Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Upcoming dates are Sept. 16, Sept. 30, Oct. 7 and Oct. 21.
