Marlborough – June 17 was a perfect night for the 21st running of the Wayside Run for Fun 5K run/walk held at Wayside Racquet & Swim Club in Marlborough. More than 250 runners and walkers took part in the race and the ensuing post-race festivities which included a poolside party and BBQ with entertainment provided by DJ Bobby B. The race, a long-established community event with more than 80 local sponsors, benefits the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Scholarship Fund.
