Barbara was a devout Scientologist and a member of member of the GFWC Blackstone Valley Women’s Club during its formation in 2009, became its first Vice President, successful fundraiser, and most recently the club’s Publicity Director. She was a devoted wife and a nurturing mother.

She leaves her adoring husband of 12 years, G. Calvin Berry; her son, Tyler Berry; brothers-in-law Rev. Anthony and Mrs. Berry and David and Marjorie Berry; sisters-in-law Rose Berry and Delia McBean; and her dear cousins, Elaine Cummings of Marblehead, JoAnne Bilodeau of Charleston, S.C., and Sharon Seivert of Cambridge.

Barbara was born Nov. 4, 1949 in Boston, daughter of the late Ruth E. (Callan) and Leo F. Lennon. Her roots were in Watertown as she graduated from Watertown High School and then Framingham State University, along with taking business courses at Bentley College.

Business acumen and accomplishments were not what defined Barbara, however. Her legacy is that of a classic lady in every sense of the word, meticulous in appearance, giving constantly of herself to the family she so loved and living with grace as she embraced the world around her. On a summer afternoon you were likely to have found her heading to the shores of Newport, R.I. with Calvin, content with his company, the wind in her hair and sun on her shoulders. She and Calvin also traveled internationally. She visited Italy and both traveled to Germany, France, and Bermuda.
