Obit Eleanor ConwayGrafton – Eleanor M. (Hicks) Conway, 80, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 60 years, William Conway; her children, Linda Conway and her husband Michael Reney, Michael Conway and his wife Angela, Susan Cerasoli and her husband David, and her daughter-in-law Kellie Conway; her grandchildren, Alicia and Nicholas Cerasoli and Michael and Amber Conway; her brothers, Allan Hicks and his wife Rona and Larry Hicks and his wife Carolyn; her sisters, Barbara DeMauro, Carol Clemments, and Florence Kulbokas; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Harry Hicks.

Eleanor was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Florence (Emmott) and Harry Hicks. She grew up in Millbury and lived most of her life with her husband William and their family in Grafton.

Eleanor was happiest spending time with family and friends at home or outside on her deck overlooking the picturesque backyard. She rarely missed a musical performance, sporting event, or milestone of one of her grandchildren. She and William traveled extensively with trips throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean seas, Europe, and North and South America over many years. Together winters were often spent in the warmth and beautiful shores of Naples, Fla.

All are invited to gather with Eleanor’s family and friends Monday, Aug. 3, from 5-8 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m., at St. Phillip Church, 12 West St., Grafton. Burial will be private at her family’s convenience.
