What are your earliest baseball-related memories?
“My earliest baseball memories are from when I lived in California. Hitting balls over the fence in my backyard.”
Which person encouraged you to stick with baseball and succeed at it?
“My dad always encouraged me to play baseball. To this day, we still play catch and enjoy the game.”
What was it like playing for the Tomahawks this season?
“Playing for Algonquin is incredible. Coach Mocerino challenges us every day to get better, and the guys on the team are so fun to be around.”
What has been the single most special game of your high school career so far?
“The most special game was the playoff game against Doherty [Memorial High School] last year. It was only my third Varsity start, and it was a lot of fun.”
What would you consider to be the best part of your individual game?
“I consider my mental strength to be the best part of my game. The ability to get out of jams on the mound is something I pride myself on.”
What has it been like playing for Coach Mocerino?
“Playing for him is amazing. He has so much baseball knowledge from playing in college, as well as coaching at that level. He pushes me to get better every day.”
Who are your favorite MLB team and player?
“My favorite team is the Red Sox and my favorite player is Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers.”
What is your favorite type of music, and artist in that genre?
“My favorite type of music is country, and my favorite artists are Sam Hunt and Darius Rucker.”
Have you decided on a college yet, and would you like to play baseball at that level?
“I have not made a college decision yet, but my goal is certainly to play baseball at that level.”
