Westborough – Susan (Dreyer) Nadler, 62, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She leaves her husband of 40 years, Dr. Arnold F. Nadler; two daughters, Marcia, wife of Dr. Jonathan Hoffman of Westborough, and Jennifer, wife of Joshua Segal of Roslindale; a son, Dr. Jonathan Nadler of Brookline; a sister, Laura, wife of John Hawkins of Leominster; and four grandchildren, plus one more due soon.

She was born in Glen Cove, N.Y., a daughter of Arthur J. and Helene Dreyer, and had lived in Westborough since 1981. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; a proud member of the marching band.

She was very active in community life; always giving of herself and her many talents. She was a past treasurer of Congregation B’nai Shalom and an active member of many of its committees. She was the town leader of the Girl Scouts of Westborough and on the board of Worcester County. She was the scout leader for all three of her children for many years.

She was the matriarch of her family and an inspiration to us all.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 20 in Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 East Main St., Westborough.
