Shrewsbury – Kim A. Degerstrom, 56, Shrewsbury, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at the UMass University Campus, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, of 25 years, Robert E. Degerstrom, died in 2010.
She leaves a daughter, Emily K. Degerstrom of Shrewsbury; her father, Paul A. Holle of Shrewsbury; a sister, Elizabeth Holle Hughes and her husband Steven of Douglas; her sister-in-law, Anna Maria Eberlin and her husband Kris of Northborough; and several nieces and nephews.
Kim was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Katheryne (Cole) Holle. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1976.
She had worked many years as a bookkeeper in the business offices of the former Gaston Andrey, Diamond Chevrolet, and Accusoft Corporation.
Kim loved being able to spend quality time with her daughter; she also enjoyed reading, cooking and passing time at the family home on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kim’s family Thursday, Sept. 3, from 5-7 p.m., in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St. Funeral and burial will be private in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
