Hudson – The Hudson Portuguese Club (HPC) and its members invite the community to share in celebrating the Feast of its Our Lady of Fatima Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13. The two days of festivities continue a tradition celebrated by Hudson’s Portuguese-American community since 1939.
Schedule of Events:
Saturday, Sept. 12
5:30 p.m. – Mass at St Michael’s Church, following candle-light procession to the club
8 p.m. – Outdoor Music at the Hudson Portuguese Club open to all with Portuguese artists Dave Loureiro and Marlene Rego of Fall River
Food Concession will be open all evening, including Portuguese fried dough
Sunday, Sept. 13
10:30 a.m. – Outdoor Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Chapel at the Hudson Portuguese Club 12 p.m. – Lunch buffet. Tickets must be pre-purchased
3 p.m. – Hudson Children’s Folcloric Group
4-8 p.m. – Outdoor music by Luis Neves and Nucha (first time in Hudson from Portugal). Nucha is a Portuguese singer best known for her participation in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest
7:30 p.m. – Farewell to our Lady Procession at the club
