Obit Donald R. Beausoleil Sr.Marlborough – Donald R. Beausoleil Sr., 82, of Marlborough, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at Marlborough Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Rodolph and Sabina Marie (Doherty) Beausoleil. He had been the former husband of Myrtle (Arthur) Beausoleil Pendelton.

A graduate of Marlborough High School, Mr. Beausoleil had been employed at Koehler Manufacturing for many years before retiring in 1998. Throughout the years, he had also been employed at Victory Plastics, Marlborough Wire Goods, and enjoyed many years of service at the former Kaffe Stuga in Sudbury. He was past president of the Marlborough Eagles, walked wherever he went, loved sports, and had a kind and generous nature.

He is survived by his son, Donald Beausoleil Jr. of Worcester; his daughters, Teresa and Renee Beausoleil, both of Marlborough, and Darlene Roberts and her husband Alan of Raymond, N.H.; his brothers, Paul Beausoleil and his wife Debbie and Robert Beausoleil and his longtime companion Barbara Hennigan, all of Marlborough; his sister, Dale Simoneau of Berlin; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Michael, Deborah, and Gloria Beausoleil, and the brother of the late Beverly Montanari and brother-in-law and best friend of the late Richard Simoneau.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 4-7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
