Obit Philip Webber Jr.Northborough – Philip B. Webber Jr., 74, formerly of North Anson, Maine, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, Susan (Thomas) Webber; his two daughters, Suzanne Anderson and her husband David of Plymouth and Kimberly Villegas of Holden; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Ryan, and Cameron; and his sisters, Emily Burns and her husband Jack of New York and Mary Hartman and her husband Curt of New Mexico.

Born in Rumford, and raised in Embden, Maine, he was the son of Philip and Alice (Knowles) Webber Sr. He graduated from Anson Academy. He continued his studies at University of Maine-Orono and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity at UMO.

Upon graduation, Philip worked at U.S. Steel for a number of years and later worked at Norton Co. in Worcester as a project manager until his retirement.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough.
