Westborough – Andrew G. Duffy, 27, of Westborough, passed away in his sleep unexpectedly early Friday morning, Sept. 25, 2015 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Born in Adelaide, Australia, he was the son of Fintan A. and Catherine R. (Lee) Duffy of Westborough. He moved to Westborough in 2003 and graduated from Westborough High School in 2006. He also attended and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
Andrew was employed as an engineer for EMC in Newton. He enjoyed boxing, his motorcycle, camping, fishing and weight lifting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Rachel A. Aghjayan of Natick and Sarah M. Duffy of Falmouth; his maternal grandfather, Paddy Lee of Ireland; two nephews, Trey Duffy and Jaxon Aghjaya; and one niece, Evangeline Aghjayan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 12-1 p.m., at the Liberty Church, 495 Hartford Tpke., Shrewsbury. Fellowship and refreshments will follow until 3 p.m.
